Our Story

Pelican Designs began during maternity leave with a laser machine, a few ideas, and a lot of nap-time experimenting.

What started as a creative project soon became something much bigger than we ever imagined.

As our blended family grew, so did our appreciation for the little moments that become life's biggest memories.... Birthdays, first days of school, family traditions, new babies, weddings, anniversaries and the everyday moments in between; they're the memories that deserve to be celebrated.

Creating personalised keepsakes for our own family quickly turned into creating them for others, and before long, Pelican Designs was born.

Why Pelican Designs?

Some of our family's favourite memories have been made at a beach where the pelicans gather. It's a place that reminds us to slow down, laugh a little louder and enjoy being together.

Pelicans are often seen as symbols of family, loyalty, protection and nurturing; values that have shaped both our family and our business.

Choosing the name Pelican Designs felt natural because it represents everything we hope our creations will become: lasting reminders of the people and moments that matter most.

Today, every product we create is designed with one purpose; to help you celebrate your story.
